I was born in 1977 in a small town in north-eastern Italy to an English father and an Italian mother. I lived there until I began to wander backwards and forwards, without any specific reason, between Venice and Trieste. I got into photography in 1998, when I broke the top E-string on my guitar. I never bothered to replace it.
